Pretty Little Liars Season 5 is probably the best season ever for fans as it keeps bringing unexpected twists.

With each episode, the mystery of A deepens even as the liars face more troubles apart from A's constant threats.

According to the synopsis of Episode 4 'Thrown From the Ride', Alison finds it difficult to regain the queen bee position in Rosewood High after her friends Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are not too keen to follow her blindly anymore.

Ali, who returned from the dead in the Season 4 finale, has become the focus of the current season of PLL. First, she was almost killed by Shana and later her mother Mrs DiLaurentis was found murdered and buried in the backyard.

As shown in the teaser, in the upcoming episode, Ali breaks down before her father when he informs her that she needs to go through police investigations.

"I got another call from Detective Holbrook today. They need for you to come in for that medical exam," Ali's dad informs her.

"I was able to postpone it before because of your mom, but we can't put it off forever," Mr DiLaurentis continues. "I know it's difficult, but it's important and I'm gonna be right there on the other side of that door."

Aria, on the other hand remains depressed about Shana's death but manages to find comfort from a mysterious source.

Pretty Little Liars Season 5, Episode 3 'Surfing the Aftershocks' airs on June 23 on ABC Family.
