Pretty Little Liars season 6 winter premiere started off with a huge plot twist and fans can't wait to watch episode 12, which is expected to reveal more secrets about the liars — Aria, Hanna, Spencer and Emily — who have returned to Rosewood after five long years and the shocking events that will again turn their lives upside down.

Charlotte, who was dreaming of a family life with sister Alison, gets murdered before pursuing it. The promo of the upcoming episode reveals that Spencer and Hanna are a bit suspicious about Aria's involvement in the murder as she was the only one who told the judge she is still scared of the horrors of A aka CeCe Drake aka Charlotte.

The other liars will spot Aria in a CCTV footage, hinting at her involvement in the crime.

Next episode is titled The Gloves Are On and the synopsis reads: Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer find themselves back in familiar territory with the Rosewood P.D. knocking at their doors looking for answers and their actions now affecting the loved ones around them. With her mother's job on the line, Hanna tries to come up with an alibi that could save all four of them with the help of her old high school friend, Lucas.

Meanwhile, Emily comes clean about the last five years, and Aria goes the extra mile to keep Ezra's second book in play with her boss.

Apart from focusing on the murder investigation, the show will deal with Emily's life as she is still coming to terms with her father's death. A sneak peek reveals that Emily has never visited her father's grave and despite multiple requests from her mother, she refuses to do so after reaching Rosewood.

The series is yet to introduce the Uber A, who is touted as the dangerous version of A. After the murder, it is expected that the liars are in for a huge trouble as the Uber A may be all set to unleash his terror on the girls in the upcoming episodes.

Pretty Little Liars season 6 airs every Tuesdays on Freeform, the new name for ABC Family.
