In the latest promo for the episode, Joyce is seen meeting with Phaedra to discuss the tension between the former best friends, and to ensure that Kandi's pregnancy is stress-free. Kandi and Phaedra are feuding over a business deal with former's husband, Todd Tucker throughout the season.
"What happened with you and Kandi?" Joyce asks Phaedra in the video, who explains, "With this pregnancy, cause it's kind of a high risk, you know, I just don't want her to just get stressed out. Or be emotionally unbalanced about anything. Cause I don't want Kandi to have any problems."
However, Phaedra did not take Joyce's intervention too well and confessed before cameras, "Well, I'm definitely not getting ready to discuss the past with Mama Joyce, because she has been known to get heated in an argument. With Mama Joyce's track record, I am not surprised she is still in the pot-stirring business."
