Real Housewives Of New Jersey cast: Show will start filming in November; No Teresa Giudice in season 7?
Real Housewives Of New Jersey will reportedly start shooting for season 7 in the fall, maybe without its reality star Teresa Giudice.
Currently, Giudice remains behind bars at the Danbury Correctional Facility, where she is serving out the remainder of her 15-month federal sentence on tax related charges.
According to the New York Daily News, the earliest she may be released is by the end of the year, which is several weeks after the show is expected to have resumed filming.
"They plan to start filming in November, which means they will be putting together story lines after the summer," a source said. "Not everyone is coming back, and it is still a big question mark as to what they will do with the problem known as Teresa."
Other housewives who will return for season 7 are Jacqueline Laurita and Kathy Wakile.
"They want to make sure the cast is full of people connected to Teresa," the source said. "Her relatives and her once-best-friend, Jacqueline, will help them tell the story of Teresa's time away, and return home, without looking like Bravo is making light of her crime. It will be more focused on family."
However, Teresa Giudice's lawyer, James J Leonard Jr previously told People, "There's a lot of bad information out there. Every day there is another story out there about her and every day the stories are wrong."
Leonard Jr also dished on whether the star will return for RHONJ season 7.
He said, "Anyone who has watched that show since the very first episode understands that Teresa Giudice is the central figure around which the show revolves.
"That's not to take anything away from any of the other women, but Teresa has been the focal point for the last six seasons, and I don't expect that to change moving forward, assuming both sides can agree on a contract," the lawyer explained.
Giudice was sentenced to 15 months behind bars during an October 2014 hearing. Then, on 5 January, she entered prison, where she will remain behind bars till 23 December 2015.
