Rihanna: Chris Brown is Destructive, I'm Happy To be Rid
Rihanna has reportedly expressed her relief over her split with Chris Brown following his latest arrest for assault.
Brown was arrested in Washington, D.C. for felony assault after allegedly breaking a man's nose during a physical altercation.
According to sources close to RiRi she believes that the Fine China hitmaker is self-destructive and feels that she had a lucky escape.
"Once again she's relieved she's not involved. She's given up on all that drama and is so happy she's not part of the foolishness," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
"She doesn't want to see him without his freedom. She hates to see people who are self-destructive but it looks like that is the case."
Brown, who is still on probation for assaulting Rihanna after a pre-grammy bash in 2009, could face four years in prison if convicted of the assault which is said to have taken place following his appearance at a nearby nightclub.
The 24-year-old and his bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, were both arrested after the former allegedly lost his temper and 'punched a man in the face'.
Meanwhile Brown's former flame Karrueche Tran has used Twitter to vent her anger and frustration in a cryptic message after learning about Brown's latest run-in with the law.
"I hate waking up to bad news (sic)" she told her 372,000 followers.
"What is wrong with some of y'all? Did y'all parents not love y'all enough? Y'all gotta quit w this negative sh*t 24 f**king 7. (sic)" she added in frustration.
The aspiring model allegedly split up with Brown permanently earlier this month after she broached the subject of moving back into his LA home.
The on-off couple had recently reunited after Brown returned to Rihanna in October 2012.
