Rihanna consoles Chris Brown after love child reports

Rihanna reportedly reached out to former boyfriend Chris Brown, after reports emerged about his love child.

It was previously reported that the 25-year-old R&B singer allegedly has a nine-month-old baby girl named Royalty with long time friend and former model Nia Amey.

Following that, Karrueche Tran announced her split with Brown by declaring she did not want "baby drama".

According to Urban Islandz, the 27-year-old Barbadian beauty got in touch with the Say Goodbye singer and gave some advice on fatherhood.

"RiRi spoke with Chris and he told her everything because he knows she is the one person he can confide in about anything," a source said.

"She gave him some positive advice and told him that he should try to be a good father and gave him her best wishes in fatherhood," the insider added. "RiRi loves kids and firmly believe that no matter what the circumstance the kid should come first. So her advice is simple, put the kid first."

The We Found Love singer was surprised when she first heard about Brown's little girl.

"She was shocked and thought it was some hilarious joke or rumor TMZ was spreading on Chris," another source revealed. "When she saw his girlfriend's response it became clear that it was serious and not just some joke and he has been silent about it so you never know. Been a while since we've seen her laugh so hard."

Brown infamously assaulted the five-time Grammy winner in 2009, by hitting her so forcefully that she had major bruises on her face, a split lip, and a bloody nose.

However, the two of them still have a strong and complicated bond, despite their public breakup and drama.
