Ronnie Corbett dead: Four Candles, Mastermind and more of the best sketches from comedy icon
Legendary British entertainer Ronnie Corbett, best known for his partnership with Ronnie Barker in The Two Ronnies, has died aged 85. His publicist confirmed the much-loved TV star died "surrounded by his loving family".
During his career, which spanned five decades, Corbett appeared in some of the most well-known comedy sketches ever seen on British television, including The Two Ronnies' Four Candles sketch, which was ranked the fifth greatest of all-time by Channel 4.
He is best known for his work with his on the Two Ronnies, one of the most successful British TV shows of the 20<sup>th century during its run from 1971 to 1987. Corbett also had a starring role in David Frost's The Frost Report alongside Barker, who died in 2005, and John Cleese.
Following his death, IBTimes UK has brought together some of the best sketches from Corbett's career, which led to the BBC describing him as "simply one of the true greats of British comedy".
