Jemima Khan, Russell Brand Romance Ends, Brand States He is Single

Just a few weeks ago, comedian Russell Brand was spotted with socialite Jemima khan and they were rumoured to be a couple. Now, Brand has stated that he is single.

"I'm currently single," declared Brand, as he was ending the US leg of his Messiah Complex world tour. He was even spotted kissing and making out with some of his fans onstage.

Just recently, he had confessed to The Guardian that he was smitten by a mystery woman and was not interested in anybody else.

"I normally fancy lots of girls but right now I really like another one, and I'm not interested in anybody else. It's a bit like finding a surprise ballroom in your house," Brand stated.

Meanwhile, there were reports of tension between the couple, with rumours doing the rounds that Jemima was scared of Brand. Her brother businessman, Robin Birley also banned Brand from his exclusive club, No 5 Hertford St. in Mayfair.

Jemima apparently confided in her friends that while she liked Brand, she was concerned about his obsessive behaviour and that it freaked her out.

"She's described him as compulsive and obsessive. It's like he's addicted to her. She likes him but it's still too much. Jemima fears Russell's obsession is more about his demons than it is about her," a source stated.

Russell has written two books and is in his own words a former heroin addict who claims to have slept with more than 1000 women. His ex-wife of 14 months, pop star Katy Perry, stated that he dumped her with a text message.
