Russell and Ciara Wilson 'want to start a new family'; NFL star talks on being a 'proud' stepfather
Seattle Seahawks star calls his stepson, Future Jr, 'sweet and loving'.
Seattle Seahawks star Russell Wilson tied the knot with singer Ciara in a lavish wedding ceremony on 6 July in England. Ever since the couple exchanged their vows, the Wilsons have been treating their followers on social media to adorable photos of themselves as well as the songstress's two-year-old son Future Jr.
If rumours are to be believed, the celebrity couple are looking forward to starting a family together, but they might not be keen on planning a baby right away.
"They haven't talked more about wanting kids but they both want to start a new family together," a source told E! News, adding, "They are focused on their respective careers right now."
While, the couple may not be announcing any baby news any time soon, the football quarterback seems to be currently enjoying his role as a "proud" stepfather.
"You think about how important life is...me and Ciara just got married," the 27-year-old NFL star was quoted as saying by the gossip website. "She has a little man, he's awesome and cute as can be, he's a special kid. I'm a stepdad now. When I see this kid, he's 2 years old, he's so sweet and loving, always has a smile on his face," he said gushing about his wife's firstborn from former partner Future.
"Being a stepfather, it's about loving the child because the child can do something amazing in his life," Russell added.
Although the couple had quite a wedding in England in the company of friends and family, they haven't had much time off after getting back. "The new season of Russell is underway and that is his top priority. The season continues through February," an insider told the website adding that Ciara too is busy with some new music.
"Ciara is back in the studio working on new music. She has already written and recorded a couple of new songs. It is early in the process but 2017 is gearing up to be very exciting," said the source.
