Singer Selena Gomez's is not interested in reportedly dating DJ Calvin Harris. According to Gossip Cop there is no truth to a recent report that claimed the Same Old Love hit-maker and the Scottish DJ "would make a perfect match".

"Selena's told friends she believes she and Calvin would make a perfect match," Life & Style magazine (via Gossip Cop) had quoted an insider as saying. "She always thought Taylor just wasn't right for him and the breakup confirmed that in her mind. She says she and Calvin would make a better couple...Selena has always had her eye on Calvin," the source reportedly said.

"Selena doesn't want to lose her best friend. Taylor wouldn't be happy to hear what Selena's been saying," the insider continued and added that the 23-year-old singer "will just try to laugh it off".

Nonetheless, recent reports suggest that the 32-year-old DJ has sworn never to date a celebrity following his split from the Blank Space hit-maker. It has also been reported that the DJ is not looking to get into a relationship any time soon.

"Calvin believes celebs are narcissistic, and all he wants is a normal girl," a source told TMZ. "As for his type ... he's very, very clear -- sexy Latina ... a Sofia Vergara-type who is not famous," the insider added.

Swift and Harris started dating after meeting at the 2015 Brit Awards. The two ended their 15-month relationship earlier in June.

Meanwhile, Swift and her new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston were pictured holding hands while they were strolling through the streets of Rome. The new couple have been quite open about their romance ever since they were pictured kissing on a beach in Rhode Island on 14 June.
