SmackDown results: Biggest winners, losers; Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles face off ahead of their title fight
The event was aired from the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina 29 November.
The latest episode of SmackDown Live saw some exciting matches ahead of TLC pay-per-view (PPV), which is scheduled to take place in Dallas, Texas on Sunday. The main card of the event saw the American Alpha and The Wyatt's square off in the No 1 contenders for the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship match.
During the show, Dean Ambrose entered the ring and introduced James Ellsworth and congratulated the latter on his contract. Ambrose then talked about his future World Championship title shot and asked who Ellsworth would be rooting at TLC. Ellsworth did not mention who he would support but said as he has already defeated AJ Styles three times, he would be honoured to fight Ambrose.
Next, The Phenomenal One appeared ringside and called Ellsworth Ambrose' prop. He also said Ambrose would be better off as a ventriloquist's dummy as it would have a chin better than Ellsworth's. But when Ambrose said Styles had lost to a dummy three times, the latter entered the ring and said he would beat Ambrose and Ellsworth black and blue if they do not respect him.
But when Ambrose said that he would win the World Championship from Styles, the latter got furious and shoved the former and beat Ellsworth. Styles then dropped the steel steps on Ambrose and then carried out the Styles Clash on Ellsworth off the steel step to the floor.
