Sorry Meek Mill! Nicki Minaj jokes about finding 'boy toy' while performing at Bar Mitzvah

Rapper Nicki Minaj was not short of male attention when she performed at a Bar Mitzvah recently but she may have gotten more than she bargained for.

Hosted at the Pierre Hotel in New York City, the Anaconda hitmaker performed a seven-song set for Matt Murstein, the 13-year-old son of Medallion Financial Corp founder Andrew Murstein.

In a photo of birthday boy Matt posted on Instagram, Minaj joked that she has found herself a "boy toy", while also describing his friends as "little hunks".

Matt was certainly confident about his chances with the Pinkprint rapper as footage released by TMZ shows him joking on stage: "I'm old enough!"

Giving some sound advice to her young audience, the 32-year-old told them: "Stay in school, don't be a slouch or a bum and ladies, never let a man have to take care of you. Be your own woman, be your own person."

One person who will be keeping an eye on Minaj's admirers is her rapper boyfriend Meek Mill, who she is reported to have gotten engaged to earlier in April.

The Young Money rapper appeared to announce the news when she shared a photo of her supposed engagement ring on Instagram. A source then told E! News of Meek's proposal: "The way this went down was more personal and private between them.

"The wedding will likely happen sooner rather than later, it's just how their relationship has been going. Nicki has been waiting for this special day for some time and Meek wants to make it perfect and a fairy tale come true for her. This is such an exciting time in her life."

Prior to Meek, 27, Minaj had been in a relationship with music producer Safaree Samuels for 10 years until they split in November 2014.
