Stevie J quiting Love And Hip Hop Atlanta? Singer's cryptic Twitter message sparks rumours
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Stevie J has reportedly hinted that he would quit the VH1 reality show "if his pay scale is not revised".
The 43-year-old recording artist posted on Twitter, prompting fans to believe that he is leaving the popular show.
"I've made others happy for the last 3 years but now I'm hitting the reset button. Goodbye ATL," Stevie wrote.
In another tweet, the singer expressed his fury about a contract dispute saying, "I'm shattering records! 6.5 million views on the debut of #lhhatl 4.5 million viewers on #theafterparty and I'm having contract disputes #IMOUT."
The latest season of the popular reality show premiered on 20 April and a record 6 million viewers tuned in to watch it (according to Music Times), as the infamous antics of the American musician and Mimi Faust started the show with a bang.
Meanwhile, Joseline Hernande, Stevie J's wife, was missing from the latest season. She was suspended from the show after a scuffle with Althea Heart on-air during the reunion episode.
"After her tumultuous breakup with Nikko, Mimi Faust is ready to redeem her career and her personal life. Her company MF Management recently gained two new rap artists Jessica "Dimepiece" and Tiffany Foxx. As Mimi tries to represent both women, she will get caught in a fierce rivalry between these two tough and opinionated artists determined to stay at the top," the official synopsis reads.
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta airs every Monday on VH1.
