Stratford Security Alert: Westfield Shopping Centre Cordoned Off as Police Swarm East London

Stratford train station has been evacuated and Westfield shopping centre cordoned after concerns were raised over a suspect vehicle.
Metropolitan Police officers were called to the scene, in east London, at around 10am today and remain at the scene.
Eye witnesses have reported multiple police cars arriving at the scene and officers are currently preventing shoppers from entering Westfield.
The station's closure means commuters face delays to the Overground, Central Line, Jubilee Line, and the DLR.
Police have since confirmed the alert was a false alarm and Montfichet Road has re-opened between Stratford City Bus Station and Westfield Avenue.
Stratford station has also reopened and services have resumed following the scare.
