Suicide Squad: On-set footage of Will Smith, Margot Robbie and other stars in action leaks online

Filming for Warner Bros' upcoming supervillain team-up flick Suicide Squad is underway in Toronto, Canada. Some latest on-set images and videos have leaked online showing stars Will Smith (who plays Deadshot) and Margot Robbie (as Harley Quinn) among others in action.

You can click here to view the on-set photos of the actors. Meanwhile, the film's director David Ayer spoke to Entertainment City, about the film and working with an ensemble cast.

"It's just so exciting to bring a show like this to the street and get out in the real world with the real people" said Ayer.

"I'm all about real drama, real performance, and real people, so my twist on this is I'm creating a family a brotherhood here. I'm creating a very real chemistry and I have this incredible ensemble of actors led by Will Smith, who are basically playing dimensional characters with lives and souls."

Ayer went on to add that working with the actors is so far the most gratifying aspect of directing the highly-anticipated DC Comics adaptation. "When you feel the performance come through, and the chemistry come through, that can't be beat."

The film's cast also includes Joel Kinnaman (as Rick Flag), Jared Leto (as the Joker), Jai Courtney (as Captain Boomerang), Viola Davis (as Amanda Waller), Cara Delevingne (as Enchantress) and Jessie Eisenberg (as Lex Luthor) among others.

The film is slated to be released on 5 August 2016.
