Swansea City and West Ham United Keen on Signing Barcelona Youngster Munir El Haddadi on Loan
Premier League clubs West Ham United and Swansea City are reportedly keen to sign Barcelona starlet Munir El Haddadi on loan during the January transfer window.
According to the Mirror, the Catalan club has been receiving calls from interested parties regarding a shot-term move for the talented youngster, and among those are the two English clubs.
Apart from the above mentioned clubs, Dutch champions Ajax are also supposedly interested in taking the talented forward to the Eredivisie.
The 19-year-old attacker has been impressive in the few appearances he has made for Barcelona this season, and those performances also saw him make his full debut for the Spanish national team earlier in the year.
El Haddadi is considered to be one of the most talented stars to emerge from the famed La Masia academy, which has produced some of football's top stars in recent years.
The Spaniard has three years remaining on his contract, but since he is still on a youth contract, interested clubs can sign him for £9.4m, which is his current release-clause with the Catalan giants.
During the summer transfer window, there was plenty of interest in the player and it was believed that Arsenal were monitoring the situation closely and Arsene Wenger was supposedly keen to sign the youngster.
Apart from the Gunners, Premier League rivals Chelsea were also monitoring the Spanish forward with Jose Mourinho an admirer.
Barcelona are keen to tie down the youngster to a new deal and reports suggested that they will offer him a new and improved contract to ward off interested clubs and will also substantially increase the release-clause in his contract.
However, despite him being so highly valued at the Catalan club, he is finding it hard to get regular game time and this has prompted clubs to approach Barcelona over a short-term deal, and it could be sanctioned by the Camp Nou outfit.
