The 35<sup>th annual Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras will happen on Saturday evening and, in a report by the Fair Field City Champion , as many as 350 women and 200 motorcycles are expected. Australian pop sensation Kylie Minogue will headline at the event, which will also mark her 25<sup>th year in the music industry.
The parade should see a variety of floats in an event that will also mark the end of a three-week long celebration of lesbian, gay and transsexual pride. More than 20,000 people are expected to attend the event.
