Undercover love: Taylor Swift rumoured to be secretly dating yet another British actor Joe Alwyn
The singer is reportedly renting a house in North London to be closer to Alwyn.
Taylor Swift seems to have a thing for Brits. After her highly-publicised split from Tom Hiddleston, the multiple Grammy award winner has reportedly set her sights on another English actor – Joe Alwyn.
According to a report by the Sun, the Bad Romance singer is dating the up-and-coming actor on the down-low and has gone to great lengths to keep the relationship a secret. "Taylor and Joe are the real deal, this is a very serious relationship," a source told the tabloid.
"But after what happened with Tom Hiddleston, they were determined to keep it quiet."
The 27-year-old has allegedly even made use of wigs to disguise herself in order to meet with her new beau and is renting a house in North London to be closer to him.
"Taylor has flown in via private jets and her security has made it a military-like mission to prevent her from being seen. She's been walking around with Joe in London using disguises, like scarves and hats, to keep her identity under wraps," the source added.
"Nobody has a clue they've been walked past a music superstar – not even her new neighbours."
Alwyn apart, Swift has had her fair share of romances with personalities from across the pond. She dated Thor star Tom Hiddleston for four months from June to September 2016; Scottish DJ and music producer Calvin Harris from March 2015 to June 2016, and singer Harry Styles from December 2012 to January 2013.
While her past relationships were with popular celebrities, little is known of Alwyn. Keeping this in mind, IBTimes UK lists some interesting facts about the Shake It Off hitmaker's latest flame.
Alwyn lives at home with his parents
The young actor revealed in an interview with the Evening Standard that he is in no rush to move out on his own and is happy living with his psychotherapist mother and documentary-maker father in his hometown of Crouch End in North England.
Hollywood's Next Big Thing?
Alwyn is a rising star and earned his first film role in Ang Lee's film about the Iraq War, Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk. The film had actors like Kristen Stewart, Vin Diesel and Steve Martin in its cast. He also had a role in The Sense of an Ending and will star opposite Emma Stone, Rachel Weisz and Nicholas Hoult in The Favourite.
The Hollywood Reporter went as far as to dub the 26-year-old as "Hollywood's next big thing".
Alwyn received an education in theatre
Growing up the son of a filmmaker, movies seem to have been an obvious choice for Alwyn. The actor went on to study theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech in London and Drama and City of London School.
IBTimes UK has reached out to Alwyn's representative, and is awaiting response.
