Taylor Swift and Matthew Healy dating? The 1975 frontman reveals they 'exchanged numbers'
The 1975 frontman Matthew Healy has admitted that he is interested in Grammy Award-winning singer Taylor Swift.
During an interview with Australian radio show Shazam Top 20, the 25-year-old revealed the two are in touch.
"I met Taylor Swift, that was really nice," Healy told host Angus O'Loughlin. "We exchanged numbers. Let's see what happens."
When the host pressed that they would soon become the next big couple, he replied: "You're calling that, are you? Let's just see what happens.
"I mean bloody hell, what am I going to do? Go out with Taylor Swift? She's a sensation, I wouldn't say no," Healy added.
The Red singer has a history of dating high-profile celebrities including Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Zac Efron and Conor Kennedy.
However, it was previously revealed that Swift has been single since splitting up with One Direction star Harry Styles.
"I'm really happy about the fact that being single doesn't feel like being alone," she told E! News. "I have love in my life, I just don't have a relationship, and that feels really natural right now."
"It's not that [I've sworn off dating] as much as I'm just very protective of my happiness. I found a place in my life that feels really great and I'm not willing to compromise that for just anyone," Swift added.
