Thieves make off with £20,000 worth of biscuits from south Wales factory
Sweet-toothed thieves have stolen £20,000 worth of biscuits from a factory in south Wales.
Gwent Police are investigating after a trailer was taken from the Burton Food's factory in Cwmbran in the early hours of Wednesday (17 June).
The trailer, which was holding the biscuits with a street value of £20,000, was later found empty in the Warrington area.
The factory confirmed "goods and a trailer" were stolen from its Llantarnam premises and are working closely with police.
