Beyonce, Beckhams, Camerons: Celebrities who Gave their Newborns Offbeat Names [SLIDESHOW]
Millions have googled Beyonce Knowles' daughter Blue Ivy Carter, the reported name of the girl, in the last 24 hours.

The Beyonce kid is just one in the line of several celebrity children to get offbeat names.
Brooklyn became a famous baby name after British footballer David Beckham named their son Brooklyn. Beckham and his wife Victoria chose the name for their firstborn as Victoria liked multicultural Brooklyn, one of New York's most populous boroughs.

The Beckhams: David and Victoria Beckham named their daughter Harper Seven. She was named after writer Harper Lee (the author of To Kill A Mockingbird), who is also Victoria's favourite author, and seven which symbolises spiritual perfection.
David and Samantha Cameron: The first couple named their daughter Florence Rose Endellion Cameron. Her middle name Endellion came from a town on the north Cornwall coast, where David and Samantha were holidaying before childbirth.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin: The couple named their daughter Apple, not inspired by Newton's experiment but just like that. Paltrow explained on Oprah's show: "Right, well, um, basically it was because when we were first pregnant, her daddy said 'if its a girl I think her name should be Apple'. And, it sounded so sweet, and it conjures such a lovely picture for me, you know apples are so sweet and they're wholesome, and it's biblical..."
Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw: The ET director and actress Kate chose to name their daughter Destry. There is a movie by this name but we don't really know why they chose the name.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt: The gorgeous couple named their daughter Shiloh - it is of Hebrew origin and means "His gift".
