Transformers 5: Optimus Prime to Fight Against the Quintessons and Megan Fox to Reprise Role with New Male Lead?
Optimus Prime's fierce fight with Galvatron in the Transformers: Age of Extinction has left fans spellbound. They are eager to know more about Optimus's next move in the upcoming sequel Transformers 5.
Now that Optimus Prime has ventured into outer space in search of the Creators in order to settle scores with them, there are rumours that the leader of the Autobots will have a huge showdown with the Quintessons.
The Quintessons are a dark race of aliens who are responsible for creating the Transformers and are famously called the Creators in the blockbuster live action movie franchise.
Breathcast speculates that there will be a major fight between Optimus's team and some major Decepticon lieutenants including Cyclonus, Scourge, and Blitzwing.
The website also speculates that Transformers 5 will revisit Cybertron, the home of the robots and their creator Quintessons.
While the enemies of the world may become stronger in the upcoming Transformer sequel, Comic Central City's Facebook page speculates that the Autobot leader will boost his power by including more of his squadrons, the mechanoids Ultra Magnus, Red Alert and Override.
Meanwhile, the suspense about the movie's director and cast still remains as Michael Bay has decided to move on and explore other subjects.
To add to the woes, there are reports that Michael Wahlberg, the lead star of Transformers 4 will be walking out of the movie.
Rumour has it that Megan Fox is interested in returning to the fifth instalment of the popular series and Enstarz suspects that Fox may return to the movie to reprise her role along with a new male lead.
"If Bay ever wanted me to do a cameo like assembling an Autobot motorcycle in a bike shop or something like that, I would totally do it," Fox told E Online.
The production house of the movie, however, is yet to clarify the rumours surrounding the casting, direction and plot of the movie.
The movie is expected to be released in 2016.
