Trouble in paradise? Liam Hemsworth 'cancels wedding' as Miley Cyrus posts steamy kissing pic

She may have posted a steamy picture of their first kiss eight years ago to mark International Kissing Day on 7 July, but is there trouble in paradise again for engaged couple Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth?

The 24-year-old singer was previously engaged to actor Hemsworth after an on/off relationship that included several break-ups. The couple first got engaged in June 2012 before calling it off in September 2013.

They later reunited in 2016 and became engaged again, with Cyrus wearing the same Neil Lane ring Hemsworth had previously given to her.

Now, according to Life and Style's latest report, Cyrus and Hemsworth have called off the wedding and that decision, apparently, wasn't mutual. Hemsworth is said to be overwhelmed with the stress of planning their future together, something that has prompted him to get cold feet.

Cyrus, meanwhile, is said to think that cancelling the wedding is for the best, but sources have claimed that she is "frustrated" with the Hunger Games actor.

A source said: "She desperately wants to be married. After all the effort she's made to change her ways and fit into his more traditional family, she now feels like she needs to step back and wait again."

The once provocatively dressed star has seemingly toned down her look in recent months. Her new album, Malibu, also features her more demure and grown-up look. She is also said to have given up marijuana.

She previously told Billboard: "I haven't smoked weed in three weeks, which is the longest I've ever [gone without it]. I'm not doing drugs, I'm not drinking, I'm completely clean right now! That was just something that I wanted to do".

News of the cancelled wedding may shock fans of the couple after Cyrus posted that snap of their first kiss, which took place in the film The Last Song.

She adoringly captioned the shot with: "Happy #InternationalKissingDay! Our first smooch 8 years ago! ❤️❤️❤️"
