Two dogs on road cause three car accidents on A4232 in Cardiff, one woman injured

Three cars were involved in an accident on the A4232 in Cardiff after two dogs ran onto the carriageway. One woman received minor injuries as a result of the crash. The woman was trapped in her car but emergency services managed to free her.
Commuters going southbound on the A4232 just outside the Welsh capital were stuck in hour-long traffic jams caused by the crash which ended up causing delays on the M4 as well. Traffic was reportedly queuing on slip roads to Cardiff junctions.
One of the dogs involved was caught by South Wales Police but the other died at the scene. Jennie Griffiths, Head of the Joint Fire Control for South and Mid and West Wales, tweeted that one of the dogs was safe but the other "sadly couldn't be saved".
