Heavy snow has caused disruption across parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England.
Leon Brown, a meteorologist at Weather Channel UK, said: "This colder spell of weather looks like it will be with us until at least the end of next week. In fact, next week looks a lot colder than the next few days with a wider snow risk, and we may see some severe frosts, even over central and southern Britain by the middle of next week."
