Victim Named in South London Funeral Shooting
The victim of a shooting at a funeral in south London on has been named as 21-year-old Azezur "Ronnie" Khan.
Another victim of the shooting is in hospital in a stable condition, after being hit in the ankle by a bullet.
Four people have been arrested and bailed in connection with the shootings that happened in broad daylight at a funeral in east Dulwich.
They are two twenty-year-old men and two 17-year-old girls.
The funeral was of Joel Morgan, 17, who recently died in a traffic accident.
"Now I'm not only burying my son, but to hear another boy has died is devastating. I can't believe another family now has to go through what I'm going through," Joel's mother told the Evening Standard.
The London Evening Standard also reports that a friend of the man who died said: "They were aiming for someone else, but it hit him instead. The other guys ran away. It wasn't meant to be him that was shot."
Extra Metropolitan Police officers have been drafted in to the area and surrounding boroughs, to try and reassure the public.
"Our priority is to bring to justice those responsible for this horrific shooting and to prevent any further incidents from occurring over the coming days," said Commander David Zinzan, responsible for south east London policing.
"A significant number of witnesses have come forward and detectives from Trident have been working around the clock to gather evidence and piece together exactly what occurred and identify those responsible for this outrageous act."
