The Walking Dead season 5: Where to watch midseason premiere live stream online
Actor Andrew Lincoln talks about upcoming episodes
Rick Grimes and group will be seen dealing with the aftermath of Beth's death as their journey continues in The Walking Dead season 5, episode 9. The show returns from its midseason break this Sunday (8 February).
Official synopsis for the midseason premiere episode reads: "After all the recent trials the group has faced, a slight detour might prove to be the solution they've been looking for."
The 'slight detour' mentioned in the synopsis takes place when the survivors take Noah back to his home in Richmond, Virginia. A previously released sneak peek (below) of the upcoming episode also shows Father Gabriel reading a "graveside eulogy." He is talking about hope and faith.
The Walking Dead star Andrew Lincoln spoke to Entertainment Weekly recently and revealed how drastically different the second half of season 5 will be as compared to any other instalment before it.
"It's such a radically different show, the back eight episodes," said the actor who plays Rick Grimes. "I think that people have to be prepared for it. We also go very dark and then something different happens in the story which I think is going to breathe incredible new life further down the road for the show."
The Walking Dead Season 5, Episode 9 titled 'What's Happening and What's Going On' airs Sunday evening, 8 February at 9pm ET/PT on AMC
