Bruce Campbell promises plenty of blood and gore in the Ash vs Evil Dead premiere episode and the trailer of the series pretty much confirms the same. Sam Raimi is returning with his classic horror comedy drama which will begin 30 years after the 1992 blockbuster Army Of Darkness, the third movie in the Evil Dead series. In the series, Ashley Williams, now an ageing Lothario, who is leading a life away from his horrific past, will be forced to wield the chainsaw as the Deadites have returned to the world to wreak havoc on humanity.

Click here to watch the premiere episode live stream online. Campbell's character will fight the gory ghosts along with Pablo, his loyal sidekick and Ruby, a woman with a secret mission of her own. In the current series, Ruby will blame the Lothario for the return of the demon mayhem as Ash will read some portions of Necronomicon during a drug infused state.

The synopsis of episode 1 titled El Jefe reads: "Ash is baaack! 30 years after his last Deadite fight, badass blowhard Ash Williams unleashes the Evil in an act of stoned stupidity, bringing Deadite mayhem into his life again. I can fix Ash. I'm going to go back and fix that actor from 1979," Campbell told Business Insider, referring to his classic character in the Evil Dead movie. "So having him back I can go, 'All right, now that I have more years of skills, what can I do with this idiot now?'"

Ash vs Evil Dead will premiere on 31 October (Halloween) on the Starz network and feature gory battles between humans and demons after the Deadite plague threatens the existence of humanity.
