Where to Watch Live
Play is set to commence at 6:30pm GMT. Live coverage will be on Sky Sports 2 and Sky Sports 2 HD. Live updates and text commentary of the game will be available on ESPN Cricinfo.
Overview
England come into this game having registered a 2-1 victory in the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against West Indies. The series was tied at 1-1 after the first two matches, but the visitors managed to win the third game by 25 runs to seize the series.
Joe Root (107) and Jos Buttler (99) were the stellar performers for Stuart Broad's side as they posted a total score of 303 runs in 50 overs. The duo registered a partnership of 175 runs for the fifth wicket after England had lost four wickets with 116 on the scoreboard. Dwanye Bravo added three wickets to his name in the opening innings dismissing Michael Lumb (20), Ben Stokes (0) and Root.
West Indies got off to a poor start and lost their first two wickets with just 10 runs on the board. Denesh Ramdin's knock of 128 was the only bright spot in their innings as they ran out of wickets with 278 runs on the board. Bresnan starred for the visitors with the ball as he nabbed the wickets of Nikita Miller (10), Darren Sammy (24) and Ramdin.
England will certainly miss Root's skills after the right-handed batsman suffered from a broken thumb in the third ODI. Meanwhile, the hosts are set to welcome star batsman Chris Gayle who missed the ODI matches with injury.
West Indies and England last met in the Group 1 clash of T20 World Cup in 2012 and the former emerged victorious by 15 runs en route to lifting the championship in the final. The hosts will be certainly gunning for revenge in the T20 series as both sides look to step up their preparations for the upcoming T20 World Cup in Bangladesh.
