What a Whopper: Bradley Cooper Swaps Film Set For Flipping Burgers
Bradley Cooper recently left fans gob-smacked when he was spotted flipping Burgers in Burger King as part of training for an upcoming film role.
The Hangover actor spent the evening at the fast food restaurant learning how to flip burgers, cook fries and other tricks of the trade during a work experience trip to prepare for a new movie about the restaurant business.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Bradley was training alongside genuine Burger King staff.
"The aim was to learn the 'art of the flip' which he picked up fairly quickly for a first-timer.
"There was no real fanfare from him. You'd never know he was a big star by the way he spoke to people." the source added.
Customers at Burger King in London's Leicester Square were astonished to have the Hollywood hunk take their fast food orders at the counter and rustle up whoopers and crispy fries for them before filming scenes for his new film, Adam Jones, in which he plays a chef.
The film, formerly known as Chef, tells the story of Cooper's character putting together a 'dream team' to launch the best restaurant in the business. Directed by August: Osage County filmaker John Wells, the comedy also stars Emma Thompson and Fifty Shades of Grey hearthrob Jamie Dornan.
It is now has the working title: 'Adam Jones', until the final title is decided, due to the recent release of Jon Favreau's film, Chef.
The American Hustle star who has Oscar, Bafta and Golden Globe nominations can now add burger pro to his list of great achievements.
Meanwhile, the actor has been moving up in the food chain as he has befriended Gordon Ramsay who was recently seen teaching him the fine art of luxury cuisine in a bid to prepare him for the acting role.
