It has been a year since the Royal Wedding of April 2011, when Britain's Prince William and Kate Middleton were married and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as they have been officially named, seem to be blissfully married.
Their courtship of over ten years culminated in their marriage on April 29 at London's Westminster Abbey, where William and Kate were pronounced man and wife by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
The much watched and talked about event was seen by millions of viewers on television and the Internet. In fact, the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton made a record for the most watched event online ever.
The couple is said to have planned their first anniversary (called the Paper Anniversary) celebrations being a private affair, away from the eyes of the paparazzi. Unfortunately for them, their life post their wedding has never been out of the public eye.
Over the past year, Kate's fashion and style has been closely watched by fashionistas from around the world... right from the day she walked down the aisle, in her much talked about Alexandra McQueen wedding dress (designed by Sarah Burton) to her first official trip abroad to Canada as a member of the royal family, as well as at the numerous other public engagements.
As Prince William and Catherine prepare to celebrate their first anniversary on Sunday, IBTimes UK brings a kaleidoscope of memories of the royal couple's wedded bliss over the past year.
