WWE Raw results: Did Rusev beat Roman Reigns for the United States Championship?

The latest episode of WWE Monday Night Raw saw some thrilling matches, including a fight between Roman Reigns and Rusev for the United States Championship. Another featured match was between The New Day and the Club for the Tag Team Championship.

Roman Reigns vs Rusev (United States Championship)

Just a day after Roman Reigns won the United States Championship from Rusev at the Clash of Champions, the former defended his belt against the latter in a rematch. The Bulgarian Brute went at the champion as soon as the bell rang. However, during the match Reigns knocked Rusev over the crowd with a powerful right hand and followed it up with the Drive-By. Reigns continued to beat Rusev as the referee made a double countout. Reigns retained his title.

The New Day vs The Club (Tag Team Championship)

Big E and Kofi Kingston won by pinfall after the latter carried out the Trouble in Paradise on The Club's Karl Anderson. The New Day retained their Tag Team Championship.

Anna Fields vs Bayley

As soon as the bell rang Anna Fields carried out her assault on Bayley. Fields went for a countout but was not successful. Next, Bayley made her come back and carried out the Bayley-to-Belly on Fields for the win.

Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann vs Drew Gulak and Lince Dorado

The match was an exciting one from the word go. However, in the end Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann won the match by pinfall with a bridging jackknife pin on Drew Gulak.

Cesaro and Sheamus vs Nick Cutler and Willis Williams

Cesaro and Sheamus's 7 series match ended in a draw at Clash of Champions as both the wrestlers got injured. However, the two wrestlers for this episode of Raw united to fight Nick Cutler and Willis Williams. They won when Cesaro covered Cutler for the win.

TJ Perkins vs Tony Nese

TJ Perkins won via submission with the TJP Clutch.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass vs Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho

The two teams went at each other from the start. Chris and Kevin Owens won after the latter powerbombed Enzo.
