WWE SmackDown results: Randy Orton squares off against Heath Slater ahead of his fight with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam

The latest episode of SmackDown Live saw Randy Orton square off against Heath Slater ahead of the former's highly anticipated match with Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam scheduled for 21 August in Brooklyn. Another featured match was between The Usos, Hype Bros, and American Alpha vs Breezango The Ascension, and The Vaudevillains.

Heath Slater vs Randy Orton
Randy Orton got disqualified while beating up Heath Slater in a corner. However, after suffering the loss, Orton thrashed Slater. Slater won via disqualification.
Dean Ambrose vs Erick Rowan
Ambrose defeated Erick Rowan with Dirty Deeds. After his loss, Rowan was abandoned by Bray Wyatt.
The Usos, Hype Bros, and American Alpha vs Breezango The Ascension, and The Vaudevillains
The Usos, Hype Bros, and American Alpha won after Jason Jordan and Chad Gable carried out a Grand Amplitude on Aiden English.
John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio
John Cena carried out AA to get the pin. Next, Styles — who was on commentary — hit a Phenomenal Forearm on Cena. Then, Styles attempted the Styles Clash on Cena but he reversed it and landed AA. However, Cena was not satisfied as he dragged Styles out of the ring and close to the announcer's table and sent The Phenomenal One through the wood with another AA.
Eva Marie vs Naomi
Naomi came out with a new neon entrance but her opponent Eva Marie could not make it as she was stuck in traffic. Eva Marie did show up later in the show when a tag team match Becky Lynch and Carmella vs Alexa Bliss and Natalya was underway. Next, Naomi came out and chased her around the ring before Natalya took her down.

Becky Lynch and Carmella won the fight after Becky carried out the Dis-arm-her on Natalya.
