WWE stars Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan welcomed their first child on Tuesday (9 May). The couple have named the baby girl Birdie Joe Danielson.
According to E! News, Brie and Daniel's newborn weighed in 8 pounds, 10 ounces and 21 inches long.
"There is no better feeling in the world than meeting your daughter," overjoyed Brie - real name Brianna Monique Danielson – told the celebrity news website.
The 33-year-old added, "I can't even express the overwhelming joy and love that Bryan and I are feeling. Now we know what parents mean about the love you feel when you first meet your child. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers on the safety of Birdie coming into this world."
In March, Brie had dished out as to why she and her husband Daniel (real name Bryan Danielson) decided on naming their child Birdie Joe Danielson.
"Bryan's mom is Betty Ann and his sister is Billy Sue, so Birdie Joe fit perfect with his family, and Joe is really important to me because my grandfather's name was Joseph – everyone called him Joe – and my grandfather was my world."
A few days ago Brie was hospitalised due to issues surrounding her unborn baby's breathing. On Saturday, she posted a video on her YouTube channel, wherein she thanked fans for their support after her "little scare."
"There were just some issues with Birdie's breathing they had to track all through the night - so we spent the night," speaking in her hospital room, she said.
