Xperia Z3 Compact Spotted in New Leak: Mini Device to have 4.6in 1080p Screen, Snapdragon 801 and 3GB RAM
Leaked photos said to be real
A fresh batch of photos of the mini version of Sony's next Xperia flagship smartphone has leaked providing hints of the handset's looks.
The leaked photos come through the Chinese microblogging site Weibo via Gforgames, which claims that they could be the real deal as the photos are shared by a Digi-Wo affiliate.
The post further confirms that Sony is expected to make an announcement about the Xperia Z3 along with Xperia Z3 Compact at the IFA 2014 event in September.
As the leaked photos suggest, the Xperia Z3 Compact, like the Xperia Z3, will depart from the OmniBalance design. The handset, in the photo, has round edges and front-facing dual speakers. Also, it features a silicon covering.
Along with the photos, the post at the micrcoblogging site reveals the hardware features of Xperia Z3 Compact. According to the leak, the handset will sport a 4.6in screen featuring 1080p resolution. Besides, it will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, paired with 3GB RAM. There will be a 20.7 megapixel camera at the rear side of the device.
The new leak is contrary to the disclosure made by recognised XDA developer, DooMLoRD who said the Xperia Z3 Mini is being tested.
According to his Twitter post, the Z3 Compact will have a 4.5in screen and 2GB RAM, although other features shared by him match with the new leak. Check out the leaked photos of Xperia Z3 Compact below.
