xXx The Return of Xander Cage: Vin Diesel shares photo of Deepika Padukone, confirms Neymar's appearance
Vin Diesel has shared yet another photo of Deepika Padukone and has also confirmed Brazilian footballer Neymar's unspecified role in xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. The Bollywood actress, who is set to appear in her maiden Hollywood movie, just wrapped up shooting her portion of the film.
The photo of the two celebrities posted on Instagram on 5 June (Sunday) shows the pair getting real cosy for the cameras. In the photo, the 30-year-old actress can be seen flaunting her curves in a black top and jeans, while Diesel can be seen showing off his chiselled body. The 48-year-old actor has captioned the photo: "vindieselDestiny.... #thereturnofxandercage."
Diesel confirmed that Neymar has completed his first day of filming. He shared a photo of the footballer with the caption: "So proud to announce that @neymarjr has filmed his first day on XxX. He is a natural!!!"
The Brazilian footballer also teased his shooting location on Instagram, but joked that Diesel would kill him if he disclosed what he was doing at the sets of the movie. He wrote: "Very excited to be on the set of #XXX3 today, but if I told you what I was doing here @vindiesel might have to kill me." "#xandercage."
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Neymar will not play any role in Brazil's Copa America campaign this month but will represent his country at this summer's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The footballer is currently in the US.
The third instalment of the franchise follows the 2002 film XXX and 2005 film XXX State Of The Union. The film is being directed by DJ Caruso.
The cast of the movie includes Deepika Padukone as Serena Unger, Vin Diesel plays Xander Cage, Ruby Rose is Adele Wolff, Nina Dobrev stars as Rebecca, Donnie Yen plays Xiang, Kris Wu is Harvard, Samuel L Jackson as Agent Augustus Eugene Gibbons, Tony Jaa is Talon, UFC Middle Weight Champion Michael Bisping as Hawk among others.
The movie will release in the US on 20 January 2017.
