Zlatan Ibrahimovic hints at Premier League move amid reported interest from Manchester United
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hinted he could make a move to the Premier League, amid reports linking him with Manchester United. The 34-year-old centre-forward is out of contract at Paris Saint-Germain this summer and has suggested he may soon try his hand in England.
The Swede thinks he is still in good enough shape to thrive in the Premier League, and reports have suggested he could link up with his former Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
Asked where he sees his future, Ibrahimovic told The Mirror: "I have another three months here and then what will happen? Big things will happen. Let's see what happens."
But when he was asked specifically about a potential move to the Premier League, Ibrahimovic added: "Let's just say I am in shape for it."
Mourinho is widely expected to succeed Louis van Gaal at United in the summer. The Portuguese coach shares an excellent relationship with the charismatic striker, and is thought to have remained a fan of his talents.
Meanwhile, United have struggled for goals this season, finding the net just 33 times in 26 Premier League fixtures. United also have just two recognised centre-forwards of note in their current squad, Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial.
