Chris Brown and Karrueche Tran split: Model feels Loyal singer was using her to make Rihanna jealous
Karrueche Tran reportedly feels that former boyfriend Chris Brown was using her to make his former girlfriend Rihanna jealous.
It was previously reported that the 25-year-old R&B singer allegedly has a nine-month-old baby girl named Royalty with long time friend and former model Nia Amey.
Following that, Tran announced her split with Brown by declaring that she did not want "baby drama".
"Chris is a liar," a source told Hollywood Life. "She doesn't believe many things he's told her over the years. One of the big questions she has is whether she was just a rebound chick to Chris, so he could make Rihanna mad. She honestly thinks she could have been a pawn in Chris' deceitful game of manipulation. She thinks he's capable of being that f***ing callous."
Tran's close ones also raised doubts whether Brown loved her or not.
"If he did, he wouldn't have cheated and he damn sure wouldn't have hid the fact he had a daughter. The more she thinks about him, the more she thinks her entire relationship with him was a lie from day one," the insider added. "That's so hard for her to swallow, but it's becoming more and more true."
The Loyal singer started dating Tran amidst his romance with Rihanna. Brown and the model briefly split in October 2012 when he admitted he was "in love with two people".
Last year in October, Brown had appeared on Hot 97s Ebro In The Morning radio show and expressed his love for Tran.
When asked how long they have been together, he replied: "Almost five years. Four and a half. She's straight I dig her, I dig her man, She's dope.
"I feel like especially being in this industry you need someone that understands you and understands who you are personally except for your name.
"You don't have to be buying them bags, let me stunt on you right quick. Although I do it because I love her, but that don't come with the territory, at the end of the day we have a real connection as best friends on top of our intimacy," he added.
