Chris Brown missing Karrueche Tran? Rapper reaches out to his ex-girlfriend on Instagram

Chris Brown has reignited speculation that there is still a chance of a reconciliation between him and ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran after reaching out to the model on Instagram.

The 26-year-old beauty split from the r'n'b star after finding out that he had allegedly fathered a baby girl with long-time friend Nia Guzman, declaring on social media that she didn't want a "baby drama".

But the Loyal hitmaker has made it clear that he is missing his former partner by complimenting her latest fashion shoot with renowned photographer Simon Burstall. "Keep killing it kiddo," he wrote under the snap of her posing seductively with an open shirt while biting on her finger.

Brown, 25, appears to have decided on a more positive approach in his dealing with Tran.

In March, the embattled star warned the aspiring actress not to lower her morals in the wake of their latest break up after she posted a racy bikini snap on Instagram. Brown claimed it was out of character and commented: "Thirst trap 101. continue to be a lady beautiful....U are perfect...Don't let the Thot [which stands for 'that hoe over there'] form from anger."

Tran was famously involved in a love triangle with Brown and his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, with the Loyal hit maker even leaving Tran on Christmas Day to go and hang out with his former lover courtside at a basketball game in full view of the world.

Opening up about their turbulent romance during her televised interview on Iyanla: Fix My Life, the pint-sized beauty told the life coach that despite the public humiliation, she does not blame Rihanna or Guzman for Brown's infidelity. She said: "My issue is with myself and with Chris. Not the baby, not the mother, not Rihanna, nobody. It's me and him."

Struggling to hold back the tears she explained : "I feel hurt because the man I loved betrayed me. I will never again let a man disrespect me. I want my voice to be heard... I want to clear it up and tell my story and tell my side."

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Brown is practising abstinence following his recent foray into fatherhood.

"For the first time in a very long time, Chris is practicing abstinence. He had some time to sit and think to himself and he's discovered what he's not good at — and that's women," a source told Hollywood Life.

"Every time he has a good woman, Chris ends up messing it up. It's been Chris's life story. He and women just don't mix well. So for now, he's just done with it all. He's not trying to have sex right now or get involved with anyone seriously.

"He's put himself on pussy punishment. He's staying away from women, and he feels that's the best decision he can make right now in order to stay out of trouble and help Nia raise their baby," the insider added.
