Fearne Cotton welcomes second child with husband Jesse Wood
Congratulations are in order for Fearne Cotton and her husband Jesse Wood who have welcomed their second child. The couple, who are already parents to two-year-old Rex, are "buzzing" following the birth of their newborn daughter Honey Krissy Wood.
Taking to Twitter on 9 September, the Radio 1 DJ, told her 6.5m followers: "Jesse and I are over the moon and buzzing with love, as our baby daughter Honey Krissy Wood came into the world this morning."
The moniker appears to be a sweet tribute to Wood's late mother Krissy Findlay, who passed away in June 2005.
The proud parents were quickly inundated with congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities alike.
Her bestie Holly Willoughby tweeted: "Congratulations beautiful lady @Fearnecotton so so excited for you all. Can't wait to meet little Honey... Love you."
Big Brother host Emma Willis tweeted: "@Fearnecotton congratulations The Woods! Sending you guys all our Willis love xx ."
Cotton began dating Wood, the son of Rolling Stones legend Ronnie Wood in 2011, just two months after she split from her fiancé, Jesse Jenkins. In 2013, they welcomed their son and they married in July 2014. Wood has two other children from a previous relationship.
After announcing her second pregnancy in February, Cotton revealed she would be leaving her BBC Radio 1 show in May after 10 years with the station.
"It's been a huge decision and I'll miss being here so, so much. But I've been here 10 years, so it's time for a new chapter," she said.
"I'm feeling very lucky, blessed, and slightly sick still, but aside from that I'm feeling really, really brilliant and really, really happy.
"I'm going to leave here, at Radio 1, with friends that I've made for life, bursting with the best memories ever. It's been such an amazing decade."
