Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed married: Vampire Diaries actor and Twilight star's wedding photos surface online

American actor/model Ian Somerhalder and Twilight star Nikki Reed are reportedly married.

According to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, the 36-year-old actor, who is well known for playing Damon Salvatore in The CW's supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries and the 26-year-old actress, have tied the knot.

Adding on, photographs of their wedding ceremony have emerged on Twitter.

In the images, Reed who was previously married to singer-songwriter Paul McDonald, looked adorable in a white lace gown. While, Somerhalder sported a white suit and matching shirt.

Though the couple have not confirmed the news, the former Lost actor took to his Twitter account, hinting about their big day.

Somerhalder – who previously dated his Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev – and Reed were first romantically linked last year in July after they were spotted shopping at the Farmer's Market in Los Angeles.

Later, Somerhalder confirmed their relationship on Instagram, when he lashed out at a few of his fans for bashing Reed.

The two got engaged in January after dating for just six months.

It was previously reported that Somerhalder and Reed were planning to invite the 26-year-old actress Dobrev, who used to play Elena Gilbert on the supernatural show, for their wedding.

Somerhalder's Vampire Diaries co-star Kat Graham recently gushed about the couple and said that she believes they are true "soul mates".

"I haven't met two people that were more of soul mates than those guys," Graham told People. "They are so absolutely amazing. Everyone loves them, and I really can't imagine him with anyone else."
