Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin split again: Hunger Games star and Nicholas Hoult 'on great terms now'

Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin have split for a second time.

According to Us Weekly, the 24-year-old Hunger Games star's hectic work schedule led to the break-up.

"Jen has been working nonstop and they never saw each other," a source said.

Lawrence and Martin started spending time together since June 2014, after she broke up with her on-off boyfriend and fellow actor Nicholas Hoult.

They had become serious about their relationship and had talked about their future together as well.

However, the two reportedly split in September, but were spotted together enjoying a dinner date at Kiwami Sushi in Studio City on New Year's Eve in 2014.

Another insider told the website that the couple's romance "ran its course" this time.

Amidst this, the Silver Linings Playbook actress has been spending more time with Hoult.

"They're on great terms now," the source said. "And their families have stayed close."

Lawrence and Hoult met during their screen test for X-Men: First Class, and began dating in 2011. However, the two briefly split in early 2013, rekindling their romance just four months later.

The X-Men: Days Of Future Past co-stars split for the second time, in August 2014 and blamed their difficult schedules for the break-up.

It was earlier reported that the 25-year-old British actor wanted to rekindle his relationship with Lawrence again.
