Josh Duggar showing 'no remorse' for cheating his wife Anna Duggar
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar may have sent their troubled son Josh to rehab after his name showed up on the adultery website Ashley Madison via a hack. But the disgraced 19 Kids and Counting star is reportedly without remorse for his acts that have deeply hurt his wife Anna.
The 27-year-old former reality TV star is noticeably away from the public glare and has missed out on family events including his cousin Amy's wedding over the Labor Day weekend in the US and church services, as he receives treatment for sex addiction. But all this has not changed Josh's attitude, according to ET, and he shows no guilt.
"No remorse," a source told the website. "He is not the person everyone thought they knew." The source also revealed that Anna trusted him and never felt the need to watch him. But the mother-of-four is reportedly heartbroken after the Ashley Madison hack revelation.
"Anna didn't check up on Josh because she trusted him. When she found out about the cheating, she just cried," the source added. After the Ashley Madison cheat list went public, the Duggar family discovered that their eldest son had multiple profiles on various websites including Facebook and OKCupid. To add to the shocking revelation, porn star Danica Dillon claimed Josh had violent sex with her.
After Dillon's confession, the evangelical Christian family is believed to have prepared itself for more of Josh's "mistresses" to come forward. Josh was working as a lobbyist for the conservative Family Research Counsel in Washington, D.C., that allowed him to travel frequently, offering opportunities to find relationships outside his marriage.
