Mariah Carey heading to Israel? Hero singer to earn half a million dollars for Tel Aviv performance

She has earned a blockbuster pay packet thanks to her residency deal with Caesars Palace, and now Mariah Carey is preparing to add to her millions after signing up to perform her first ever concert in Israel.

TMZ reports that the 46-year-old diva is expected to earn half a million dollars to take the stage in Tel Aviv in August.

According to the celebrity news site, The Hero and Infinity hitmaker's forthcoming gig was inspired by her billionaire boyfriend James Packer, who took the singer to the country back in June. The 47-year-old businessman is allegedly a good friend of Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

IBTimes UK has contacted Carey for comment and is awaiting reply.

The news comes weeks after Carey signed a multimillion-dollar deal to become the new face of video game Game of War: Fire Age.

TMZ previously reported that the mother-of-two was set to replace Sport Illustrated model Kate Upton, who has appeared in the game's promotional material for nearly two years.

Carey's campaign for the game will apparently include photoshoots and an advertisement shot by Terminator Genisys director Alan Taylor.

In the meantime, the powerhouse vocalist is dividing time between her lucrative performances at Caesars Palace Colosseum and her partner, who is reportedly interested in marriage.

"A wedding isn't something Mariah would have considered a month ago, but now she's head over heels for James and wants to marry him," a source recently told In Touch Weekly. "It's been a whirlwind. Her head is spinning from the light-speed love affair."
