Nina Dobrev and Austin Stowell getting serious? Whiplash actor calls rumoured girlfriend 'babe'

Nina Dobrev and alleged boyfriend Austin Stowell were reportedly spotted getting cozy at The Final Girls Los Angeles screening on 16 June.

An onlooker told US Weekly, that the Whiplash star stayed close to Dobrev while walking the red carpet. Clad in a Monique Lhuilluier dress, Dobrev introduced Stowell to her co-stars as the two held each other's hands.

"He called Nina 'babe'," the eyewitness said. "And gently put an arm around her waist."

Earlier this week reports claimed that Dobrev had taken Stowell to Jaime King's baby shower and introduced him to everyone as her boyfriend.

Taylor Swift threw the shower, which was also attended by celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Sarah Hyland, and Gigi Hadid.

"[At the party] Nina introduced Austin as her boyfriend to people who didn't know him. Most of the people there knew each other. They were glued to each other. Either holding hands the entire time to they had their arms around each other. They both seemed really happy, especially Nina," an eyewitness told Hollywood Life.

Dobrev who recently quit the supernatural series Vampire Diaries opened up about her days as Elena Gilbert during the CFDA Awards held on 1 June.

"I was in tears almost the whole time we were filming as you probably can see in the scenes," she said.

"They're tears of joy, but you remember all the good times you've had and you won't be having them anymore. But I'm appreciative that I've had them in the first place. They're my family. They'll be in my life forever," she added.
