Old foes India and Pakistan renew their cricketing rivalry at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, India, in the Super 10 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2016 on 19 March.
The hosts, widely tipped to win the tournament, are looking to bounce back after succumbing to a shock defeat against New Zealand in their opening match in Nagpur. India have never lost to Pakistan in a World Cup match before and are backed at 2/5 to maintain that impressive record in Kolkata.
Pakistan got their World T20 campaign off to a flying start by beating Bangladesh, and will be quite confident of making it two out of two by beating their arch rivals. Shahid Afridi's side are priced at 9/5 to pull off an upset.
Virat Kohli scored a century for India in their last World Cup encounter with Pakistan in a 50-over match last year. He is backed at 11/4 to be the top run scorer for the hosts, the same price as Rohit Sharma. Left-handed opener Shikhar Dhawan is placed at 7/2.
Mohammad Amir bowled a superb spell against India in their recent Asia Cup encounter and is backed at 5/2 to be the leading wicket-taker for Pakistan.
