Xperia Z3 D6603 Benchmark Listing Confirms Specifications: Z3 Compact to Sport 4.6in Screen
Xperia Z3 Compact passed through FCC
A new Sony smartphone bearing model number D6603 has been spotted while making its way through the GFXBench benchmark site.
Sony D6603 is said to be the model number of Sony's new Xperia series flagship, known as Xperia Z3. According to the listing at the GFXBench, the Xperia Z3 runs Android version, 4.4.2. It sports a 5.1in screen with resolution measuring 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The database further suggests a 2.3GHz quad-core processor but the final product is likely to have the MSM 8974-AC running with clock speeds up to 2.4GHz, which is the Snapdragon 801 rumoured previously.
Besides, the Snapdragon chip will be paired with the Adreno 330 graphics unit and a 3GB RAM. The device will offer 16GB internal storage. Among other notable hardware features are the 20.7 megapixel rear-camera and 2.1 megapixel front-camera.
Most of the features in the current leak match with the previous disclosure of renowned Twitter leakstar, evleaks, reports XperiaBlog.

Meanwhile, the mini version of Xperia Z3, dubbed Xperia Z3 Compact has passed through FCC (the Federal Communications Commission) in two different variants such as FCC ID PY7PM-0810 and PY7PM-0812.
The FCC documentation reveals the dimension of Xperia Z3 Compact, which is 127 x 64.9 mm and a display diagonal of 116 mm (4.57in).
Considering the FFC listing, the Xperia Z3 Compact is believed to have the third highest screen ratio for an Xperia device at 69.85%. The Xperia ZL sports 74.97%, and the Xperia T2 Ultra is at 71.69%.
