How to get Floating message mod on Galaxy Note 3 powered with Android 5.0/Android 4.4.4

Senior XDA member, nambavung has released flashable zip files for the Floating message mod for the Galaxy Note 3.

Using this you can get Floating messages or, Air Messages feature from the new TouchWiz UI on your Galaxy Note 3. The flashable zip file can be installed like any other files through recovery mode. Another key feature of this zip file is it works on both Android 5.0 and Android 4.4.4 KitKat powered Galaxy Note 3.

Check out the following installation guide to install floating messages mod on Galaxy Note 3. But do not forget to create a back up of all data of your Note 3 before following the installation guide.

How to get floating message/Air message on Galaxy Note 3

Step 1: Download flashable zip file for the Galaxy Note 3 on the computer

Download link: Head over to the development thread to get the download link.

Note that there are different links for Android 5.0 and Android 4.4 KitKat running Note 3. Use the download link depending on the OS version of your device.

Step 2: Connect your Note 3 to the computer and move the file to the SD card of the phone

Step 3: Disconnect the Note 3 from the computer and turn it off

Step 4: Put the phone into recovery mode by pressing Volume Up, Power and Home buttons together for a few seconds

Note: Do not forget to create a back up of the current phone set up in the recovery mode.

Step 5: In recovery mode, select wipe data/factory reset

Step 6: Return to the recovery main menu and select, install zip from sdcard>> choose zip from sdcard then head over to the location where you have saved the zip file, select it and confirm installation

Step 7: After the installation is completed, again perform wipe cache and dalvik cache

Once the process is completed, reboot your Galaxy Note 3 to normal mode.
