MIUI global beta ROM 6.3.17 featuring Android Marshmallow rolling out for Mi 3, 4 and Note

A global beta build of MIUI ROM version 6.3.17 is now available. Installing this beta build will bring users the sweet Android Marshmallow dessert treatment ahead of the official rollout. Users of Mi 3, 4 and Mi Note would be able to take advantage of this build.

This beta build brings a spate of changes including bug fixes, optimisations as well as new additions in terms of features. The following is the complete changelog for version 6.3.17.

• Added account lock after flashing phone in Mi Cloud — Find device. Avoid risks of lost phone being used by others
• Permission Manager supports managing permission to create home screen shortcut, and restricting all apps' access to a specific permission in one press

How to update

Go to Updater app on the phone and check for updates. If you are running any older versions, you will have to update to version 5.12.17, then check for the updates again followed by a reboot. You should be able to get MIUI 6.3.17

In case your phone is running on other older versions, click here to download the ROM via fastboot mode. Do remember to create a backup for all the important data of your phone before you go ahead with the flashing. Below are the download links for fastboot files.
