Gomez's family are not pleased that she has rekindled her romance with ex-boyfriend of three years, Justin Bieber.

Mandy Teefey allegedly became distraught after realising her daughter was serious about the relationship.

"Justin is very affectionate to Selena. He wears his heart on his sleeve lately especially when it comes to her," a source told E! News.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez reportedly won't be together during Christmas because of the Same Old Love singer's commitments with her family.

"As far as Justin Bieber is concerned, Selena Gomez has always been 'the one' and no other girl has ever come even close to her," a source said.

It was previously reported that "people around her are worried that she'll end up heartbroken all over again".

"Selena felt the need to pull back a little but that has only made things more clear in her mind," a source said.
